A Study Tour to Exchange Experiences on Coastal Resources Management Initiatives undertaken by Sri Lanka, organized by the SAARC Coastal Zone Management Centre in Collaboration with the Coast Conservation Department of Sri Lanka has been implemented successfully from 18-24 April 2011.

This Centre organized a Workshop on Training and Capacity building in Conservation and Management of Trans-boundary Protected Areas of Sundarbans, in Kolkotta , India from 20th -23rd March 2011 in  collaboration with the Directorate of   Forests, Government of West Bengal, India.
