The report on “SAARC Haveeru- 2010, deals with the details of the an event on coastal awareness held in Kathmandu, Nepal as Centre’s initiative to create awareness on coastal concerns and marine environment in a non-coastal country, Nepal, with specific approach to disseminate knowledge on coastal and its linkage with landlocked countries. The awareness programme was held on 15 and 16 September 2010 in the Administrative Staff College in Kathmandu, Nepal was targeted on School children was also represented by the various representatives and visitors of the diverse Society in Nepal. Various programmes such as Stall exhibition, Students’ Conference, Film Festival, Beach photography, Info-Meet, Quiz Competition, Essay Competition, Art competition and Slogan and Mascot Competition were the main attraction of the event.
